Bobby Solberg grew up in a family steeped in country and bluegrass music, and started singing with his father’s band at a young age. He continued performing with the band in northeast Wisconsin throughout high school before making the move to Nashville, Tennessee.

In Nashville, Bobby quickly immersed himself in the local music scene, performing at clubs and participating in songwriter rounds with some of the city’s top hitmakers, including Anthony Smith—known for penning songs for artists like Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, and George Strait.

Bobby honed his talent as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, performing at iconic Nashville venues such as The Stage on Broadway, Robert's Western World, Legends Corner, the Ernest Tubb Record Shop, and the world-famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. In just a short time just a short time of arriving in Music City, Bobby’s schedule was packed. He’d start the week with a songwriting appointment on Monday, play Broadway on Wednesday, and open for a national act on Friday. Over the years, he’s opened shows for country legends like George Jones, Trace Adkins, Joe Diffie, and Joe Nichols, and shared the stage with musicians from the bands of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, and more.

As a songwriter, Bobby has penned numerous tracks, including “I Can’t Get There From Here,” recorded by Nick Hoffman of Kenny Chesney’s band. The song was featured on a compilation alongside hits by songwriters like John Rich, James Otto, Phil Vassar, Tony Martin, Wendell Mobley, and Bob Dipiero. Solberg has also made appearances on national television, including an A&E Life & Times Special and a satellite broadcast from Branson, Missouri.

Currently, Bobby is working on his forthcoming album, Mercy and Grace. The project, recorded on Nashville’s legendary Music Row, is being produced by Grammy-nominated producer Kevin Grantt.
