From the first time Bobby Solberg walked out onto the stage, as a youngster in his father’s band, until today, one thing has remained the same, his unconscious and innate ability to sing and play straight from the heart.

Whether it’s Country, Bluegrass, or Gospel, you will find it in it’s pure and unadulterated form, every time Bobby straps on his guitar and steps up to the microphone.

Bobby Solberg was born into a family of country and bluegrass musicians and started singing with his father’s band at a very young age. Bobby continued to perform with His father's band in northeast Wisconsin throughout high school and then moved to Nashville, Tennessee.

After moving to Nashville, Solberg began performing at local clubs and doing songwriter rounds with some of Nashville's hit songwriters, including Anthony Smith (Smith has written singles for Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts and George Strait)

Bobby continued to develop his singing, songwriting and guitar playing style at some of Nashville’s legendary music venues such as The Stage on Broadway, Robert's Western World, Legend's Corner, The Ernest Tubb Record Shop and World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

Within a year and a half, a normal week consisted of a songwriting appointment on Monday, performing on Broadway on Wednesday and opening a show for a national act on Friday. Bobby has opened concerts for for numerous country artists such as George Jones, Trace Atkins, Joe Diffe and Joe Nichols to name a few and has performed with members from the bands of George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire and many others.

Over the years, Solberg has written many songs including “I Can’t Get There From Here” which was recorded by Nick Hoffman from Kenny Chesney’s band. This song was included on a CD compilation that credits Solberg along with hit songwriters John Rich, James Otto, Phil Vassar, Tony Martin, Wendell Mobley, and Bob Dipiero. In addition, Solberg has also made several National Television appearances, including an A&E Life & Times Special and a satellite broadcast out of Branson, Missouri.

Bobby is currently working on his upcoming album entitled "Mercy and Grace". The project was recorded on Nashville’s legendary music row and headed up by session leader and Grammy Award nominated Producer Kevin Grantt.
